JRC NQE-887C Inmarsat-C Distress Alert Button

The JRC NQE-887C is a remote distress alert button designed for use with JRC Inmarsat-C satellite communication systems, including the JUE-75C. It enables crew members to send an emergency distress alert to rescue coordination centers anywhere in the world by pressing a single protected button.

Built for marine environments, the unit features a hinged safety cover to prevent accidental activation, a READY status LED to indicate system synchronization, and an adjustable dimmer for panel illumination. When activated, the NQE-887C transmits a distress message containing the vessel’s identity and position through the Inmarsat-C network, supporting compliance with GMDSS, SOLAS, and IMO requirements.
